I’ve been on the hunt for a good tech organizer for the LONGEST time.

Everything I came across was either too small, wasn’t really built for travel, or just didn’t give me confidence that my gear would survive being thrown around in a backpack.

Since I travel a bit (and occasionally go on treks), I wanted something with enough space for all my everyday carry, something waterproof, and with enough protection that I don’t have to think twice before tossing it into my bag.

A friend of mine, Tushar, builds carry gear, so I reached out to him to see if he had any recommendations. Instead, he was like, “Let’s just make one exactly the way you want it.”

Been using the EDC.2X Custom X-Pac Edition for a while now and DAMN .. I genuinely wasn’t expecting it to turn out this good.

The quality is SOLID. The stitching and finishing are super clean, the X-Pac material feels premium, and the whole thing just feels incredibly well thought out. It’s become one of those things that automatically goes into my backpack whenever I’m heading out.

Also, the sling was something I thought I’d barely use .. turns out I use it way more than I expected. It’s actually pretty nice to carry it as a small crossbody/fanny pack when I don’t need my entire backpack.

I obviously reached out to Tushar because he’s a friend, but I’d only recommend it if I actually liked it. Safe to say this one has earned a permanent spot in my travel bag.
